Welcome to Great Outdoors. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website, services, and products. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access our services.

2. Use of Services

Our services are designed to provide information and facilitate bookings for outdoor adventures in Australia. You may use our services only as permitted by law and these Terms. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any aspect of our services at any time without notice.

2.1. User Account

Some areas of our services require registration or creation of an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete. You are responsible for safeguarding your account password and for any activities or actions under your account.

2.2. Age Restrictions

Our services are available only to individuals who are at least 18 years old or to minors who have obtained parental consent. By using our services, you represent that you meet these requirements.

3. Bookings and Cancellations

When you book an adventure through our services, you are entering into a binding agreement with Great Outdoors. The specific terms of each adventure, including cancellation policies, will be provided at the time of booking.

3.1. Cancellation by Customers

Cancellation policies vary by adventure type and duration. Generally, cancellations made 30 days or more before the start date are eligible for a full refund minus a processing fee. Cancellations made 15-29 days before the start date are eligible for a 50% refund. Cancellations made 14 days or fewer before the start date are not eligible for a refund. Please refer to the specific terms provided for your booking.

3.2. Cancellation by Great Outdoors

We reserve the right to cancel adventures due to unsafe conditions, insufficient participation, or other unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, customers will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule. Great Outdoors is not responsible for additional expenses incurred by customers in preparation for cancelled adventures, including but not limited to flights, accommodation, or equipment purchases.

4. Safety and Conduct

Outdoor adventures involve inherent risks. You agree to follow all safety instructions provided by our guides and to use reasonable judgment to ensure your safety and the safety of others. Great Outdoors reserves the right to refuse service to anyone who, in our judgment, poses a safety risk to themselves or others.

4.1. Health Requirements

Participants must disclose any relevant health conditions or limitations that may affect their ability to safely participate in an adventure. Great Outdoors may require a physician's approval for participation in certain activities.

4.2. Prohibited Conduct

The following conduct is prohibited during our adventures: consumption of alcohol or illegal substances, harassment of other participants or guides, disregard for safety instructions, and any illegal activities. Engaging in prohibited conduct may result in immediate termination of your participation without refund.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Great Outdoors or our licensors and is protected by Australian and international copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works of our content without explicit permission.

6. Liability Limitations

Great Outdoors provides our services "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that our services will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.

6.1. Assumption of Risk

By participating in our adventures, you acknowledge and accept the inherent risks of outdoor activities, including but not limited to physical injury, exposure to adverse weather conditions, encounters with wildlife, and equipment failure. You agree to assume all risks associated with these activities.

6.2. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Great Outdoors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of our services or participation in our adventures.

7. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Great Outdoors and our officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including, without limitation, reasonable legal and accounting fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of our services or your violation of these Terms.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Australia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the courts of New South Wales, Australia.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Your continued use of our services after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically.
